Travel Health

Our practice nurses are available by appointment to offer medical advice regarding travel and vaccinations where appropriate. Prior to an appointment, please complete a travel form and hand this into reception. The nurse will then review your paperwork and advise on what vaccinations are required. Please leave as much time as possible before you travel to see the nurse, a minimum of 6-8 weeks is required to allow sufficient time for a vaccine to take effect before travelling.
A copy of the form can be found here. Alternatively, please pop into reception and collect a printed copy.
Our nurses can provide travel health advice and arrange for appropriate immunisations. Please arrange an appointment for a travel consultation at least 6-8 weeks before departure if possible. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.
