Our range of NHS services
- Audiology - An audiologist visits Spa Medical Centre on a regular basis, referral through your GP
- Cervical screening clinics - Appointments can be booked directly at Reception as part of the national screening programme
- Counselling service - Short term counselling service offered on a weekly basis, by referral from your GP
- District Nursing service - Provides specialist nursing services to patients requiring care at home
- Dressings service - Dressings and wound care for patients following operations, who require removal of stitches and clips, wound reviews and ongoing dressings
- Family planning - A confidential service provided by our team of Practice Nurses
- Health Checks - These are offered when you register with the surgery
- Minor surgery - A number of minor surgical procedures and joint injections can be carried out by your GP or Surgical GP at the medical centre
- Physiotherapy - On referral from your GP
- Social workers - The adult care team is based at the surgery, contact number is 01225 898005
- Speech therapy - This service is offered weekly, term time only, by referral from your GP

- One stop warfarin monitoring clinic

- Influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations
- Phlebotomy service
- Ear syringing
- Administration of prescribed injectable medication
Alternative Therapy
We have a Podiatrist running a private clinic once a week at the Centre. Please ask reception for a leaflet detailing more information about the service. Alternatively, you may self refer; please ask reception for a referral form.
Non-NHS services
Not everything we do is covered by the NHS and so there maybe a charge. Details of these services can be found here.
