Working: 37.5 hours, 5 days per a week, may be required to work some Saturdays
Salary: Starting at £10.00 a hour rising to £10.50 a hour, following successful probation
             period.

Spa Medical Centre is looking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic, and motivated Patient Coordinator Administrator to join our Team. The successful candidate will have previous admin experience and will have excellent organisational and communication skills as well as a high level of competency using Microsoft Office products and computers. The successful candidate will have the ability to liaise with staff at all levels and work effectively as part of a team. Mental Health Practitioner

Band 6/7 or equivalent, negotiable depending on skills and experience
30 - 37.5 hours over five days. Hours and working days can be negotiated and job share considered. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Practitioner to work in a busy, dynamic and friendly organisation where safe and efficient patient centred care is at the heart of what we do. We are a friendly, welcoming and innovative GP Practice near Bath, Wiltshire and we care for 13,500 patients from Melksham and the surrounding area. We offer flexibility, a focus on staff wellbeing, bimonthly lunch club, running club and an annual staff team building event.

The right candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing assessment and treatment for patients with mental health needs. They will hold a RMN or equivalent qualification. Post registration experience in different mental health areas (adults/children/elderly) is desirable, along with a basic knowledge and understanding of the services available to patients with mental health needs. Evidence of professional registration with evidence of ongoing CPD essential.

We are an established multidisciplinary team and pride ourselves on providing an excellent standard of care. We have a strong working team philosophy, holding regular educational and non-educational meetings.

Practice Administrator

Spa Medical Centre is looking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic, and motivated Practice Administrator to join our GMS Admin Team.  The successful candidate will have previous admin experience and will have excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as a high level of competency using Microsoft Office products and computers.  The successful candidate will have the ability to liaise with staff at all levels and work effectively as part of a team.  A strong commitment to personal and professional development and teamwork are essential for this role.

This position is for 30 - 37.5 hours, 5 days per week, 10:30/12:30 - 18:30. Applicants must be flexible and able to cover holidays and sickness as required.

Full training will be provided.  The salary is £19 500.00 Full Time Equivalent (FTE), rising to £20 475.50 FTE following successful probation period. We also offer 5 weeks paid annual leave and the opportunity to join the excellent NHS pension scheme.  Uniform is provided following successful completion of probationary period.

Paramedic

Spa Medical Centre


The Paramedic will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking and clinical assessment through to the diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process, including assessment and diagnostic skills, leading to the delivery of safe care for all patients.

They will work collaboratively with the Healthcare Team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures. The Paramedic will provide a holistic and clinical service, with support from GPs as required, implementing agreed management plans and following approved protocols as appropriate.

Registered Theatre Practitioner - BANK As & When

Salary: Hourly rate £16.00 - £18.00 (£31,200 - £35,100 pro rata) depending on experience

Spa Medical Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated part time Registered Theatre Practitioner to join the Surgical Services Team. Working as part of a dedicated team, the successful candidate will be assisting the Surgeons delivering quality surgical services, working to set policies and procedures.

The post holder will work autonomously and need decision making skills, performing tasks including scrub and theatre circulator roles. They will regularly take charge of the Day Surgery Department and facilitate the smooth running of the Department.
Working when required, with flexibility on days (Monday – Friday) and times required.

Immediate start, full training and induction programme provided.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered General Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner
  • Minimum 2 years Theatre experience
  • Excellent communication skills
