Reception Team

Dinese LudwellDenise Ludwell is responsible for the day to day running of our Reception department and ensures that patients' needs are met and maintained. The team behind the reception desk will assist you in making urgent and routine appointments to see your GP or Nurse, answer numerous and varied questions and are happy to help and assist at all times. Their main objective is to ensure that our patients feel supported, well cared for and listened to.

Our Reception and Administration teams are responsible for registering patients within the practice and for updating patient details, etc. They keep the centre’s information system “current” with information from paper notes and from the Health Authority, who are linked to our computer system for exchange of patient information, as well as the document scanning software where all correspondence from Consultants and outside agencies is scanned into patient medical records.

Medical Secretaries

Our medical secretaries process the correspondence between the GPs and consultants, hospitals and other agencies. They may undertake the arrangement of urgent appointments. Certain referrals are processed electronically through Choose and Book, which offers the patient a more efficient, flexible service at a hospital of their choice.
